Where, When, and How: Adverbs in Action for Class 5

This interactive Class 5 worksheet introduces students to three key types of adverbs: of manner (how), place (where), and time (when). Through puzzles, sentence rewriting, word scrambles, and storytelling, children build practical grammar skills for clearer, more vivid expression.

    Why Adverbs Matter in Grammar?

Adverbs add clarity and detail to sentences. In this worksheet, students learn to:

    1. Understand how, when, and where actions happen.

    2. Use adverbs naturally in descriptive and narrative writing.

    3. Build vocabulary and apply grammar rules through fun formats.

    4. Differentiate between similar words and enhance sentence variety.

    🕒 Exercise 4 – Adverbs of Time
